Palghar, Jun 8 (PTI) A fire destroyed a godown storing decoration materials in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, officials said on Monday.
No casualty was reported in the incident which occurred on Sunday evening, they said.
The blaze erupted at around 5 pm on Sunday in the godown, where decoration materials used for shooting and functions were kept, at Samantpada in the Virar area, a fire official said.
Three fire engines were rushed to the spot, and the blaze was brought under control after about three hours, he said.
No one was injured, the official said, adding that the godown stocked with combustible materials was gutted.
