Gorakhpur (UP), Nov 5 (PTI) BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Thursday called on party workers to fight the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections like “warriors” and work with the resolve of securing a historic victory.
Addressing party office-bearers, former leaders and representatives of NDA allies in Gorakhpur, Nabin urged them to work together to ensure the party’s win for a third consecutive time.
“With the hard work of our dedicated workers, we have won historic elections in the past and will continue to do so. We must fight and win the 2027 elections like warriors. All workers should work with the resolve to secure victory,” he said.
He expressed confidence that the BJP would return to power with a massive majority in 2027, citing the achievements and development works of the “double-engine” government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Earlier, Nabin met former public representatives and acknowledged their contributions. The experience and guidance of senior leaders would be crucial to the success of “Mission 2027”, he said.
Nabin also met representatives of NDA constituents and called for collective efforts to defeat “forces obstructing Uttar Pradesh’s development”.
State BJP president and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh, state co-in-charge Pradeep Verma, national secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Sangeeta Yadav, state general secretary Abhijat Mishra and regional president Vinod Rai were among those present at the meeting.
