Apple said the store has more than 70 highly-skilled members who come from 18 states and collectively speak more than 15 languages.

The store also has a dedicated Apple Pickup station which makes it easier for customers to order online and collect their devices in-store at a convenient time.

For hands-on technical and hardware support, Apple said customers can make a reservation at the Genius Bar at Apple Saket for expert help. “Genius Bar appointments can help with everything from setting up a device, recovering an Apple ID, selecting an AppleCare plan, or modifying subscriptions,” a company statement said.

There was huge excitement early in the morning as people stood in long queues to witness the inauguration of the second store.

Tim Cook opened India’s first Apple store in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Tuesday.

Taking to Twitter, Cook dropped a picture from the grand launch and captioned it, “The energy, creativity, and passion in Mumbai is incredible! We are so excited to open Apple BKC — our first store in India.”

Cook also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi Wednesday and said Apple “shared his vision of the positive impact technology can make on India’s future,” adding, “…from education and developers to manufacturing and the environment, we’re committed to growing and investing across the country.”
