Shimla, Jul 27 (PTI) Himachal Pradesh BJP president Dr Rajeev Bindal on Monday announced the appointments of state conveners and co-conveners for various cells, in an effort to strengthen the organisation.
In a statement, Bindal said various cells of the party play a vital role in communicating with different sections of society, conveying their concerns to the organisation and the government, and disseminating the BJP’s policies and ideology to the public.
He said Lieutenant Commander Abhishek Patial has been appointed as state convener of the Ex-Servicemen Cell. Brigadier R K Sharma, Colonel M S Katoch, Commander Vijay Jamwal, Subedar Kamlesh Kumar, Subedar Bhagat Singh Wahalwal, and Subedar Vijay Bhatt have been appointed co-conveners.
Kuldeep Rana has been appointed as the state convener of the Sports Cell, while Mohit Sood, Ashish Thakur, Rakesh Chauhan and Rajinder Singh Thakur alias Dimple have been made co-conveners.
Prem Pandit has been appointed convener of the Dev Samaj Cell, for which the co-conveners are Abhishek Patha, Baldev Ranta, Mahant Balyogi Swatantra Maharaj, Jai Gopal, Indrapur Jamdagni Rishi, Sushil Kalia, and Ashutosh Sharma.
Similarly, Basti Ram Sharma has been appointed as the state convener of the Pharmacist Cell, and Rakesh Chandel as the co-convener.
Shivcharan Chauhan is now convener of the Weavers Cell, with Lata Katoch as the co-convener.
Furthermore, Manoj Rana has been appointed as the state convener of the Transport Cell, while Pankaj Agarwal, Jitender Kumar, Raja Thakur and Santosh Shukla are the co-conveners. PTI COR RUK RUK
