Tirupati, Sep 15 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday offered silk clothes to Lord Venkateswara on behalf of the state government during the Brahmotsavam celebrations at Tirumala.
The CM is on a two-day visit to Tirumala to participate in the annual celebrations and offer prayers at the temple.
Naidu had darshan of Bedi Anjaneyaswamy and subsequently offered silk clothes to Lord Venkateswara before having darshan of the deity.
After the darshan, he will proceed to Sri Gayatri Nilayam in Tirumala, where he will stay overnight.
On Wednesday, Naidu is scheduled to inaugurate the Pilgrim Experience Centre. The centre has been established in the 17th compartment of VIP Queue Complex-1.
He is also scheduled to flag off electric buses at Gogarbham Dam Circle and inaugurate the SV Museum.
He will subsequently hold a meeting with officials before concluding his Tirumala engagements and is scheduled to return to Amaravati at 2 pm. PTI MS ROH
