New Delhi: A video of a man being stripped naked and beaten up near a school in Ambala’s Jain Bazaar locality has been doing the rounds on social media since Monday. It is believed that he teased girl students coming out of the school, making inappropriate gestures.
After being beaten up, he was reportedly handed over to the police and booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Meanwhile, tweets and Facebook posts have gone viral claiming that the man is a Muslim.
Yashveer Raghav, who calls himself “media panellist” for BJP in his Twitter bio, posted, “In Ambala, a young man from a peaceful community tried to rape a 5-year-old girl, in which the women there grabbed and rolled her naked. Such a disgusting person should be hanged for quick action, if alive…. #Muslims”.

The video is also being shared widely on Facebook with an identical caption, which reads: “In Ambala’s Jain Bazaar, a Muslim man tried to rape a five-year old girl when the women around caught him, stripped him naked and beat him up. Strict legal action should be taken against the person with such a disgusting mentality. At least the people have initiated something. That too women. This should be repeated in every village and town.”

The claim that the man outside the school is a Muslim has been found to be false. Speaking to SM Hoaxslayer, an officer at the women police station concerned denied that he is a Muslim and said he is a “Punjabi Mehra”.
A report in Amar Ujala identifies him as Pawan aka Sonu.
An ANI report said, “A woman has complained that a man named Pawan has been harassing school girls, behaving in a vulgar manner with them. He also used to flash his private parts.”

What action was taken against these shameless women ? No man can treat a woman in a public place in such a way no matter what and how much barbaric crime she has done. If a man treats a woman in such a way then there will be a great outrage among people and soon such a act of that man will be a national news or international news . People will say that the women are not safe in the country and if she has done a crime (no matter how much barbaric) you can go to police , you cannot beat her in public and stripping in any way should not bear by anyone at any cost! But in this video you can see that these shameless woman are stripping a man naked publicly ! If he has done a crime they can beat him in even more worse way, they can lodge an FIR in police station but here it seems that these women only need a chance for showing their perverted nature and mentality . Such an act by these women should be seen as a serious crime. These women are saying that this man has done a crime by making inappropriate gestures. OK ! Yes then he has done a serious crime and he will be punished accordind to law. But if making inappropriate gestures is a crime then is it not a barbaric crime to strip a person naked publicly! it is a crime what this man has done it is also a very very serious crime what these shameless women has done. Infact it is thousand times more barbaric what these shameless women has done. What these women has done is equivalent to gangrape and video circulation of this incident has made the situation worse . This incident will have very serious mental effects on the victim. Modesty and dignity belongs to all and violation of modesty and dignity of any person should be seen as equally serious crime no matter victim is a man or woman. But society and people have such a perception & prejudice that women are full of modesty and men are devoid of it which is false. Everone generally talks about modesty and privacy of women but approx no one talk about privacy, modesty and dignity of men. Forceful stripping of any person should be considered as rape or gangrape in law irrespective of victim’s gender. And postage of footage and video of such incidents should be banned by law and should be treated as a serious crime.
