New Delhi: Junaid Safdar, son of Pakistan Muslim League (N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz, has again left people awed by his beautiful voice. A clip of him singing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Tenu samjhawan ki has gone viral on social media and people can’t seem to get enough of it.

Many are also crushing on him for how “handsome” he looked during the mehendi ceremony in Islamabad Monday, with one even calling for a petition to make him the next prime minister of Pakistan ‘because he is more handsome than Imran Khan’. The Twitter user wrote, “Petition to make Junaid safdar next PM of Pakistan , kuyn k wo imran khan sy ziyada handsome h”.

Safdar married Ayesha Saif Khan in London on 23 August.

While one user praised Safdar for his “beautiful voice”, another wrote, “JunaidSafdar ready to win the Internet again with his singing skills!”.

Many Pakistanis were also in awe of Maryam Nawaz, both by her looks and by her “melodious” voice. While some Twitter users claimed she “looked no less than the bride on his son’s one of the wedding functions”, others slammed her for “stealing her daughter in laws spotlight”.

There were also those who shamed the PML(N) leader for “flaunting Nawaz Sharif’s stolen money” to organise an extravagant wedding and for “toxic exhibition of financial prowess”. Many others shared funny memes on what the budget of Junaid Safdar’s wedding would be.

A user wrote, “Maryam owns shitload of property, stocks & offshore companies without ever working in her life. Capt Sadfar takes monthly stipend from Sharif family. Junaid Safdar is literally brought up (funded) by Nawaz Sharif. So don’t tell us they can flaunt stolen money w/o a bit of mocking”.

Commenting on the family picture taken during the ceremony, an Instagram user said: “Pakisatan ki awam ka paisa”, and another wrote, “Awaam ki cash with Maryam full ash”.
