New Delhi: Jonathan Majors is making a comeback into show business after being convicted of assault and harassment. It is a politically charged film titled Run, Hide, Fight: Infidels.
The actor, who was set to play Kang the Conqueror across Marvel’s multiverse saga after appearing in Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, was removed from the franchise after being found guilty of assaulting his former partner, Grace Jabbari.
The case dates back to March 2023, when Majors himself called the police, claiming Jabbari was unresponsive. The investigation led to his arrest, and in December 2023 he was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment. Following the verdict, Marvel Studios announced it was parting ways with the actor. He had originally been slated to headline Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.

‘Radical Islam is real’
Earlier this year, he received the Perseverance Award at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, an honour presented to “an individual who has shown that no matter what adversity they face, they will continue to aspire to inspire.”
Now, Majors is headlining Run, Hide, Fight: Infidels, directed by Kyle Rankin. The film is backed by conservative media company The Daily Wire, co-founded by Ben Shapiro.
Sharing the trailer, Shapiro wrote, “The threat of radical Islam is real,” adding that “Hollywood has refused to tell that story for three decades.” He also described it as one of the best films produced by The Daily Wire.
The film follows a group of students caught in a terrorist attack carried out by Islamist extremists, with Majors playing a central role as they fight to survive.
