New Delhi: Indian social media is abuzz with speculation over the alleged inclusion of Antilia, billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai residence, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Players claim to have spotted the distinctive towering structure in the game’s Mumbai-based campaign.

“IS THAT ANTILIA IN CALL OF DUTY?!,” read the title of a YouTube Short by @TubeStationGaming posted on the platform, alongside a short clip from the game.

Another user claimed to have spotted Mumbai’s Worli Doordarshan Tower.

“Everyone’s going gaga over Ambani’s house getting featured in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4. But people missed out on the Doordarshan tower in Worli which has also featured albeit briefly,” Arindam Mahapatra posted on X.

Captain Price and Task Force 141 go to Mumbai

The 2026 first-person shooter game focuses on a war between North and South Korea. In addition to missions that take place in locations such as New York and Paris, the game features extensive passes of Mumbai’s dense Victorian market block, including a moving commuter train.

The game sends Captain Price and Task Force 141 into the city for a nighttime Special Air Service (SAS) campaign mission called “Gone Dark”. Mumbai also forms the backdrop for a 6v6 multiplayer map set there. Players navigating the city’s busy streets and clusters of high-rises and rooftops claim to have spotted the landmark during gameplay.

While several players have speculated about the building’s resemblance to the Ambani residence, developers have not officially confirmed it.

When does the game officially release?

Modern Warfare 4, announced in May this year, is set to be released for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on 23 October. However, users who digitally pre-ordered the game were granted early access to its campaign mode on 16 October. They also had access to its DMZ mode starting 20 October.

Unlike the previous Call of Duty titles Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7, Modern Warfare 4 will not launch on Xbox Game Pass on release day. The game is set to launch on the subscription service at least a year after its release.

The game has been developed by Infinity Ward and is published by Activision.
