New Delhi: Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has released footage of the audacious attack on an Army truck in Poonch last month which claimed the lives of five soldiers.

The video, doing the rounds on social media, is part of the propaganda of the People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), which has been identified by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as a proxy outfit of the JeM.

While ThePrint has chosen to not air the video since it is part of the terror group’s propaganda, the video also shows the brave actions of a soldier.

This is the first time a terror outfit has released footage of it carrying out an attack on the Army and shooting down soldiers.

The video shows a soldier getting off an Army vehicle and firing in one direction. He is then hit and falls on the road but continues to fire. A terrorist with an AK-47, who is shooting the video, approaches from behind and fires at the injured soldier, killing him.

The terrorist is seen firing multiple shots, the first of which hits the soldier on his shoulder. The soldier is later seen collapsing in a pool of blood, while the terrorists keep yelling and firing more rounds at the Army truck.

The PAFF also said in the video that it will release the full footage of the attack.

As reported by ThePrint earlier, the attack on 20 April was carried out by a combined team of the JeM and the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operatives, with a mix of local and Pakistani terrorists. The Army truck was targeted with armour-piercing bullets and grenades.

Of the five soldiers killed in the attack, three died due to bullet injuries while the other two succumbed to burns.
