It is crystal clear that Hindus have, in general, treated their own constituents i.e., Dalits /so called lower castes, in a shabby manner. It is sad & uncivilized way in Modern days. The tragedy is that, still, the Top leaders of the Hindus have not responded to make any amends positively. They have to break the inertia. This I say, being a non-political & Brahmine citizen myself. Late PM Pandit Nehru jee was a Great leader & Statesman but his successors did not match to his stature.
