In movie industry everybody will have some caste connections to somebody else Madam. In tamil media , no other caste is harassed like Brahmins for just being one. This article is proof of it.
Dear madam,
I understand that this is an opinion piece and you are welcome to express your opinion and I even agree with much of your opinion. But I have to comment that the entire article takes the form of a social media post, rather than an article. Other than your comment about the trash quality of the ‘insider’ videos, there is nothing of substance to this article. I am a member of The Print and am a member because I want pure journalism and not celebrity gossip parading as news. Until I read your piece, I was not familiar with any of this gossip. So you have simply joined their bandwagon by commenting on the trash being put out by these people.

And there is no doubt that she can sing well. What is required and important is to check the veracity of her accusations , not comment about Brahmins getting a better deal in the entertainment industry.
Tambram girls (w)are expected to learn carnatic music as it’s the culture to sing carnatic songs during marriages and festivals like Navrathri Lakshmi Pooja etc. May be that was the context.

I saw the interview. Suchitra never said that’s how she got the job. This article is blatant lying and extrapolation of the lie .
Makes one wonder what privilege does this writer enjoy to become a journalist with such poor integrity and skills.
