Big corporate hospitals in India that benefit from medical tourism have a stake in the welfare of foreign patients’ lives. 1. More than President Xi, the stellar examples from Asia would be Paramount Leader Deng of China and PM LKY of Singapore. Singapore’s journey to the First World within a generation is a fantastic success story. LKY deserves a lot of credit. However, Deng’s task was more formidable. A canvas comparable in size to India’s. The burden of rigid communist orthodoxy, when the need was to create an economy guided by market principles.
