Supreme Court’s conviction of Anil Ambani, a member of India’s wealthiest and most powerful corporate clan, for contempt marks a welcome turning point in the history of Indian capitalism. Along with bankruptcy laws, it’s also a coming of age. Good capitalism needs that laws hold everyone accountable, especially the rich.
The Pulwama incident has shown that today India is totally isolated in the world. We must immediately embrace Iran and make it India’s best ally. Our relations with U.S are at best commercial.
