The long trial, conviction, appeal and acquittal of G.N Saibaba, and four others, has shown up the inexplicable hurry displayed by investigating agencies and the lower judiciary that had earlier sent him to prison for life. The high court is right in pointing at the possible lack of ‘dispassionate objectivity’.
