Russia cannot afford to lose, and USA cannot let Russia win. Now it’s India who can break this deadlock. Putin’s prestige is at all time high; he has been forced to go for war. If Russia will somehow think to end this war, USA will not allow them to do so. China is also using Russia; they are taking the advantage of Russia’s compulsions. Even gulf nations want war to get prolonged, so that the oil prices will remain high.
Now who will provide the graceful exit to Russia? So, it’s only India who has the solution, India has to somehow take this leadership to stop the war. although because of inflation all the EU countries is suffering in this winter, but EU countries don’t have that calibre to insist Russia to stop, because they were the one who joined USA’s camp and had put sanctions on Russia.
Graceful exit in Kargil war for Pakistan
During Kargil war, when India started using Bofors gun and our air forces started cutting the supply chains of Pakistan’s army followed by recapturing tiger hill. Then northern line infantries of Pakistani army were looking for the graceful exit, and they were fearing that, humiliating surrender of 1971’s war shouldn’t happen again. At that time USA helped Pakistan to leave Kargil gracefully. Bill Clinton stopped the war; Pak army got a safe passage and the war was down and dusted.
If the war stops now, Ukraine will win or lose
One thing should be very clear, Ukraine will never lose this war. Although Ukraine has lost many territories to Russia, then also Ukraine will not be losing this war. To restrict the superpower like Russia for more than six month is a win in itself. So, Ukraine has nothing to lose in this war, its Russia who has to lose. It was Russia who entered the war for winning but found itself in a nuclear stale-mate situation.
Russia’s mistake
Russia had escalated the nuclear card very early in the war, even their foreign minister in his regular speeches spoke about it. Nuclear weapon is only kept for deterrence, and should be used to put fear in the mind of the opponent. It’s like a chicken game, the one who is chicken hearted will pull back their troops. In 1962 Cuban missile crisis, Russia proved to be chicken hearted, and in 2008 Mumbai terror attack, India proved to be chicken hearted and not retaliated because of the nuclear threat given by Pakistan. The early and several warning of nuclear strike compelled Putin to make a public statement that he is not bluffing.
Nuclear threat is it a possibility? And which country will benefit the most from it.
There is a huge possibility of Putin using nuclear weapon, and USA is provoking Putin by destroying Nord-stream pipeline too. And USA has left everything on Putin. If this threat becomes the reality, it is USA who will benefit the most. USA is doing everything to make their allies believe that Russia will never pull the trigger of nuclear weapon, and now they are arming Ukrainians like anything. Ukraine is not fighting the war, its USA who is fighting behind the curtains, they have done masters in that. Whenever it was needed, they slowed down the war, and you have seen that whenever Russia had given nuclear threat that’s the time when USA’s supplements of weapon to Ukraine is most. After Putin’s speech, that he are not bluffing about the nuclear weapon, with the help of USA, Ukraine recaptured Kharkiv and USA compelled Ukraine’s president to make a public statement that rest of the regions also they will soon recapture. So, USA will do everything and anything that will compel Russia to use their nuclear engine.
Mr. Modi will have to intervene.
It’s up to you if you want to believe or not, but right now it’s only Mr. Modi who can end this war. Its only Mr. Modi who can provide the graceful exit to Russia, and Putin needs it to end the nuclear stalemate. Its only Mr. Modi who can bring the two leaders on the same table. India is only one of the few countries whose relation are good with both the nations who are in war. But it would not be easy, USA’s interest will not allow them to do so. When Manmohan Singh tried to solve Kashmir issue through diplomacy in 2008, it was USA whose interest were suffering and at the same time, 2008 Mumbai attack happened. Solution of Kashmir was in the interest of Pakistan. At that time, it was USA who plotted that attack. So, Mr Modi should come forward or else at this point, Russia has no other options apart from using nuclear weapon.
