BEIJING (Reuters) – Two people were killed and four injured in an explosion at a chemical plant in northwest China’s Ningxia region, state media outlet Xinhua reported on Thursday.

The accident occurred at the site of Ningxia Baofeng Energy, a Shanghai-listed group that produces chemicals from coal.

Baofeng Energy did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
