Per capita GDP of Bangladesh is much higher than WB, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura etc.
People go from poorer area to a richer area and not the other way round. If there is one thing that has greater prominence than religion, it’s money.
So let’s remove our myopic glasses off and realise that Bangladesh is a friendly country that cooperates with us on catching terrorists. We probably have a thing or two to learn from them wrt laser focus on becoming a manufacturing power house.
Do you know there is no political group subsidy like free ration for life, special opportunities, reservations. There is one law and no non-Muslim has extraordinary rights including political freedom. Each one -regardless of religion – has to earn for his livelihood. And people rush for visas of all kinds. Those educated seek shelter in Australia, NZ, Canada while the rest of the world is closed for them. Those not so well educated seek work including toilet cleaning in countries of SE Asia, Middle East and visas are no longer available to them.
Ignorance is bliss but add ‘should not lead to blindness’.
