In fact, except throwing up some big numbers, there was nothing of political bite in the issue. As a counter argument, when would RBI transfer any funds to the Govt? When reserves touch 50 or 70 or 100 percent of its assets?! Or the position would change if Congress comes to power? By opening their mouths on every issue they don’t understand, our opposition leaders are making a nuisance of themselves.
