Rahul Gandhi is a fifth-generation politician from the Nehru-Gandhi family, a senior Congress leader and party MP from Wayanad in Kerala.
His entry into politics happened in 2004 when he decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the family seat of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He subsequently won three times from there but lost to the BJP’s Smriti Irani in 2019. However, Rahul Gandhi, remained an MP because he won the election from Wayanad. He became the Congress party chief in 2017 but quit from that post after the Congress’ disastrous show in the 2019 General Elections. Cutting across months of 2022, 2023 and 2024, Rahul Gandhi has taken out two yatras — the 3,750-km Bharat Jodo Yatra (from Kanniyakumari to Srinagar) and the 6,700-km Bharat Jodi Nyay Yatra (from Thoubal in Manipur to Mumbai).

This guy is in his own world ….. no one respects him and his family, his own party is in the dumps but he clings on. No vision, no coherent thought, nothing he says is of any interest to the people of India, just parroting empty words, yet he clings on. He claims to speak for Indian democracy when that same democracy has shown him the door unequivocally…. yet he clings on. What a misfortune for Indian democracy that we have such a vacuous, toothless, incompetent opposition. What is his claim to speak of democracy when his very position as head of the congress party is entirely dynastic. What a farce, and what shameless people.

What is happening in Rajasthan is , simple politics as was started and practised by the Congress party since the Mrs .Indira Gandhi –daughter of Mr. Nehru was honoured with the presiden ship of the Congress party in 1959 . Her first victim was the state of Kerala which incidentally sent her grandson to Lok Sabha in last election forgetting her actions. If the country can move on for decades with congress practise of removing state Government , it will tolerate what RG calls “conspiracy of deceit and deception” History is repeating itself . Only wearer of the shoe that pinches has changed.
