Pakistan is a South Asian country and western neighbour of India. It was created in 1947 after being partitioned from India during independence. Founded as a Muslim-majority state, its early years were shaped by leaders like Muhammad Ali Jinnah, its founding father and first Governor-General, and Liaquat Ali Khan, its first Prime Minister.
The country has experienced periods of military rule, political instability, and economic challenges. Currently, Pakistan faces severe economic stress, marked by high inflation and external debt.
With India, although it shares a common past, and the water of the Indus and tributaries, it shares strained relations over longstanding border disputes. Pakistan has fought three wars with India, with border tensions persisting over Kashmir and historical grievances, including the creation of Bangladesh in 1971, further straining relations.
Another guy writing drivel about how some brilliant Indian saved the day at the very final minute from the Pakistani rascals. All these are fantasy stories we read from time to time about RAW, the fat dwarf National Security Advisor and so on. The fact is these ruling class Indians are hopeless, cunning, and dishonest people. I mean it took your elite troops 2 or 3 weeks to dislodge 2 or 3 Pakistanis who attacked the hotel in Mumbai. You dont even feed your troops properly. They survive on rice, floor and daal. In fact Hindus are hopeless people and they have messed up India for ever. Jai messy Hindustan. Long live RSS chaddis.
Core problem: Kashmiri muslims don’t think of themselves as Indian. It’s been that way for a long time. Once upon a time, even Hindu kashmiris would make “stray” comments about india. Look – the game is over. Winning hearts and minds is just a defensive strategy now, we – india – are playing not to lose. We will keep the terroitory no matter what. If we do it with relative peace, that’s victory for us.
Our politicians were interested only in safe guarding personal interest, family business, with their bank balances.
National interest not even secondary.
Actually it’s a terrible idea, trying to win over the ‘hearts and minds’ of Kashmiri people. They’re possible the most selfish ethnic group that has ever existed.
Maybe back in the day when this strategy had yet not been put to test, it may have seemed like a worthwhile option. But with all that has been done in the name of ‘Operation Sadbhavana’, and all that at the cost of the Indian Taxpayers, not much has changed. It’s still ‘aapka India’ and ‘humara Kashmir’.
Pls don’t waste people’s time. No one is here to know about your LTC claim. Talk to the point. Period
Indians deliberately forget the fact that sentiments and aspirations of a nation cannot be suppressed by any means, be it with force or with doles. If Indians are truly interested in winning hearts and minds of people of Kashmir, they should allow them the right to plebiscite and set a glaring example rather than continuing with the occupation without any fruitful results.
A Plebiscite is not conducted when ever you want. Its done only once. Why the problems in Middle East, refugee problem in Europe etc? Lack of plebiscite?
Just few changes , wherever word India is there replace with it Pakistan and wherever Kashmir is mentioned replace it with Baluchistan , sind and Pakistan occupied Kashmir you will face your reality. It is Pakistan which is fuelling unrest in Kashmir it is matter of time it will be solved, with you , without it inspite of you. Pakistan does not understand language of decency, it needs different approach which is in application.
