Congress should definitely give him, Sachin Pilot and other young leaders a frontal role in the party as well as a big role in MP . He is fairly popular in MP even if he lost one seat , his popularity ratings are much higher in MP as a whole. He can revive popular support for congress in MP. And the more the young leaders and faces that emerge in congress’s national politics , the better for congress as well as for Rahul Gandhi ( he does not have to carry the burden alone). Congress satraps and senior leadership should realise that their old ways have rendered the party moribund. The younger leaders should be given a chance if congress has to revive in the long run and be seen as a party youth would like to join and be part of. Its high time scindia was given a much bigger role in the party , he has stuck to it despite all allures from BJP till now , he could easily win twice over and rise in BJP. congress would be really stupid to let a popular and dynamic face go like this. They did this with jagan reddy to their peril
This author is completely wrong as she is comparing Scindia who is a big time loser to Priyankaji who has never lost an election. In education he cannot be compared to Rahulji as he did a management quota seat in all the colleges mentioned while Rahulji is a Developmental economics guru to the Manmohan Singh. How can he stand in Maharashtra when he lost in Guna. Unlike Rahulji who seamlessly won in wayanad with 5 lakh vote margin…

The contribution of the Scindia dynasty to India’s history is quite significant. The Great Maratha, Mahadji Scindia controlled Delhi for almost two decades, albeit after having a pact with the East India Company. Prior to that the Scindias fought bravely against the Afghan invaders in the 18th century. Dattaji and Janakoji sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Buradi and the Third Battle of Panipat. In the 19th century, the Scindias fought bravely in the Battle of Assaye against the British Army led by the Duke of Wellington, the conqueror of Napoleon. The Duke had described Assaye as his toughest battle. It is only after victory in the Battle of Assaye that the British could conclude their conquest of India. This Jyotiraditya inherits a great legacy. He should not consider his dynasty as subservient to any other dynasty, more particularly the Nehru- Gandhi dynasty.
In Congress, whether the present one or the older, ‘competence’ is not only ‘never enough’. It is also looked upon with deep suspicion by the “Family”, which cannot abide any likelihood of someone ‘competent’ and having a decent following on his own. showing up the said family and its members for what THEY are not and never can be.
I would rate Sachin Pilot more highly than Mr Scindia. In the very difficult time after May 2014, he returned to Rajasthan, rebuilt the party cadre’s morale, clawed his way back with a series of byelection wins. A more deserving claimant to the CM’s post than the wimpish Ashok Gehlot. Rajesh Pilot would have been proud of him. 2. During UPA’s decade in power, so many big names from MP, they could not pose any challenge to the growing popularity and clout of CM S S Chauhan. Losing his own seat from Guna, remarkable. I probably speak better Marathi than JS. One honestly cannot see him anywhere close to Mantralaya.
Total rubbish. Author is clueless. This is not journalism but trash being written & appearing to seem profound.

Soniaji is matron queen of congress. no Scindia or Sandhya can defeat her
