Neither state govts nor companies earn large profits from lotteries. However, a look at the system shows there’s ample evidence of murky dealings and financial irregularities.
In an interview with Gulistan News this week, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the government would leave law and order to J&K Police and slowly withdraw troops.
The ‘idea’ Kejriwal's politics grew around was a no-holds-barred fight against corruption. That is the reason Modi govt has now tarred him and his entire party with the same paint.
The idea of blending ATF used in propeller run civil aircraft of IA was first initiated after my first publication from IIP Dehradun (CSIR organization.) My first publication was :Lubricity of Jet Fuels’ (Authors: N.Suresh and P.K.Goel) a unique thought in those days. I am N.Suresh (now Suresh N Rao.) I later worked for IOC R&D and LUBRIZOL corporation of USA. Not sure any one remembers me at IIP Dehradun or IOC of India now! After moving to USA to join Lubrizol Corporation at Cleveland Ohio in 1979.
Dear Suresh,
Of course I remember you. This is N.V. Iyer from IIP and IOC R&D. Do get in touch with me on narayan_iyer2000@yahoo.com It will be good to connect. Thanks.
Undoubtedly salute to the Air Force and Army for the great humanitarian deed against all odds and commendation to links of the author so as to make the rescue possible ! ….but such are the perks of being a journalist or reporter with some seniority and experience …….having the personal and direct contact numbers of the Chiefs which are normally not available even to the men and masses they command except a few staff officers. Hope the comments of Mr Pankaj Kumar above and the depth of his words are read and understood by the author (likely of the ‘Walk the Talk’ fame and hobnobbing with the Who’s Who of the country) and with his wisdom steers a campaign for a Govt sponsored or part Govt venture air ambulance service for all such common citizens in distress ! Isn’t it due in this tech and financial advancements made by our country since 1997 ?? Is the present air ambulance service available affordable by our citizens ? There is no dearth of pilots in the country ……! A service like that if started will be the true tribute to lives lost like that of Ms Priya Chandra Shekhar…….so that no more young promising lives are lost for want of timely Medicare …….I wish ….I wish ….!
Undoutedly a salute to the Air Force and Army and commendation to the links of the author …! That’s one of the perks of being a journalist or reporter with some seniority and experience…..Even the Chief’s mobile or contact Nos are available which are hidden from the masses ……Wish the author (likely of the ‘Walk the Talk’ fame, hobnobbing with the Who’s Who of India) reads the comments and understands the depth of the words of Mr Pankaj Kumar above and now starts a campaign for Govt sponsored Air Ambulance service for all citizens of India …..Aren’t we as a nation a little late in having such a service …..in the tech and financial advancements made since 1997 ???? !!!!……..I wish ….I wish ….!
The author must have very very very high links. It’s not possible for a average guy to pickup the phone and directly call Chief of Air Staff and a Area Commander just like that.
As for the ability of the Indian Air Force or the Army, they don’t need any certification. When really required, they can move lightening fast with deadly accuracy. I can understand the number of people who put in their efforts (it would be a long list because getting an aircraft airborne, landing it at an airbase with no night flying capability and then the takeoff requires lots of specialist personnel).
Long live Defence Forces.
Really a heart warming true account of the efforts to save a life .Kudos the Air Chief Marshal and the Chief of army staff who acted to the demands of the situation though some rules were to be bent .Timely action .God bless.
If that would be a normal civilian vehicle could they get help like this.India is worst to live for general public.Only VIP life is precious not a general person’s life.
