The only mantra to fight woke misogyny right now is in three words, “I believe you”, and to provide pro bono legal support to victims of professors on the list.
In Episode 1544 of CutTheClutter, Editor-in-Chief Shekhar Gupta looks at some top economists pointing to the pitfalls of ‘currency nationalism’ with data from 1991 to 2004.
Using this technology, IDF carried out fully robotic combat missions, drastically reducing risk to Israeli troops. The robotic combat task force also enhanced situational awareness.
While we talk much about our military, we don’t put our national wallet where our mouth is. Nobody is saying we should double our defence spending, but current declining trend must be reversed.
I am so so shocked after these lists! I mean Profs are like Hollywood producers. They got life time power even after retirement. How can girls exist within this field!?
Then these women because of power networks can’t be expected to help students. The feminist groups have become power groups with men.
Nivedita Menon seems so scary and weight from the previous comments. Can’t someone do a true profile of this power crazy Prof? Just looked at her Wiki page. A war is going on about her name as symbol of resistance. Symbol of shame is more true.
Why is mainstream so silent? What is this about our left media?
This is about trust in the feminist movement right? I was a fan of Nivi when I was a student. I went to all the talks she gave. But I lost my trust the day I found that she defended with such force someone like Rajiv Bhargava’s appointment. Then I wizened up like she has interests and networks and that’s cool. But not my kind of thing.
Then one day I lost my respect for Nivi when she supported Anna Hazare. It is important in this context since we knew the conservatism and casteism of that moment. But I thought she is ambitious and kind of ok to be. But I don’t like that. But differences, right?
Then Nivi shook my faith in JNU itself when she made very vague remarks about Kashmir and retracted them and then she just went on claiming victim hood. Then got Neha Dixit to write her up as the hero and petitions as victim. Really? A feminist victim?
This is again all about Nivi and about how everything should always be about Nivi. It makes me laugh when Nivi claims that she is without power. Haven’t you and your clique controlled academic fields for so many years? Ostracised so many people? I don’t want to go into it.
But this is all about trust right? You cannot be trusted.
Keep dismissing due process and you are inching closer and closer to chaos.
The system has failed women, and continuous to do so, but the right thing to do (and the brave thing to do) would be to reform this weak system. Instead we are turning into lynch mobs.
Even Dr. Ambedkar, the creator of our constitution, wouldn’t have approved of this method.
The suggestion of author is that sensitive and reliable legal support must be available to all victims of sexual assault. The reason for making this suggestion is that in current system such a support system is not available. Thus, the author is not against ‘due process’ she is telling why ‘due process’ in its current form is against victims. And how this should be changed.

First-generation Dalit student and attorney??? Surely you don’t mean Raya Sarkar, not with her/their Singaporean citizenship and US residency?
