PM Modi will touch upon the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and BJP icon Deen Dayal Upadhyaya

In line with his first Teachers’ Day speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again reach out to students with a live broadcast to 40,000 higher educational institutes.

A direction has been issued by the HRD ministry to heads of the institutes to compulsorily tune in to the PM’s speech, to be delivered on 11 September, in commemoration of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s famous address at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago.

The PM will launch his ‘New India’ initiative on this occasion. The Modi government has assiduously built up new icons since it came to power in 2014 and the aim is to take them to ‘New India’ in every way possible.

This time, he will focus on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and BJP icon Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. While Modi will address the young audience, several cabinet ministers will interact with the participants on issues like poverty, cleanliness, terrorism, communalism, casteism and corruption.

Calling it a ‘Student Leaders Convention’, the HRD ministry has sent out a communication to heads of all higher education institutes to tune in at 10.30 am Monday. They have been asked to identify a common room or auditorium on the campus and install a television or projection facility so that all students and teachers can view the PM’s address.

The ministry said it is important for the youth “to understand and absorb the content of Swami Vivekananda’s message to the world” and “to ensure their right educational, career and spiritual growth”.

In New Delhi, student leaders from all the states have been invited to participate at a one-day event to be held at Vigyan Bhawan. The young leaders will be divided into small groups based on their area of interest. Atul Jain, general secretary of Deen Dayal Research Institute, the co-organiser of the event, said that he was expecting a large turnout of youths at the event.

“Young leaders have been called upon by the PM so that both the government and youth will find a way to contribute to the society. Deen Dayal Research Institute is organising the event, in collaboration with the government. It would be a great opportunity for the policy makers to know the mind of the youth of the country,” said a source.

  1. I am very excited to realise that Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji is attempting to lead the Indian Youth with this type of highly inspiring activities.

Recently I listened to some speeches delivered by our Mrs. Sushama Swaraj, which convinced me about her proficiency as a National Leader of OUR India, the Nation THAT has to be very Proud to be truly the largest and the Best Democracy in the world.

Finally, it seems, we are gradually getting the right type of leadership at the Centre.

I address my fellow Citizens in India with the following statement:

    “Friends!
    PLEASE, Judiciously elect such
leaders who will honestly try to
enhance the glory of our Nation,
so that the entire World can gain
    substantially from the richest
    traditional values stored in the
Good Old Classical Culture of our
India, starting from the top: The
    Vedic Literature, down to the
    grassroot-level traditional values
strewn all over Our Rural India,
    which can be plentily found
almost anywhere when we’ll try to
detect them with a positive and
    passionate attitude.

    Friends! A Really Good Modern
    Nation is not built overnight!
Those of us who are impatient,
them I would suggest to kindly
have patience. The Time for India
is Coming ! The Recovery of India’s
    Great and Glorious Destiny is
    JUST INEVITABLE. PLEASE
    PATIENTLY WAIT!
    &
Let us expect a Great Speech from
    OUR MODI JI”
