There is a huge difference in medical terms between those two sentences. Also, your author forgot to mention that either Oseltamivir or Baloxavir are effective only if taken within 48 hours of onset of illness. In India, getting the infected sample to a recognised lab and getting the report to confirm the disease takes 2 weeks.
