Gang leader Ranjan Pathak & his three associates were gunned down by a joint police team of two states on intervening night of Wednesday & Thursday in Delhi’s Rohini area.
The police have also recovered multiple weapons, including an AK-47, from the spot. The encounter is currently ongoing, with security forces searching for any other Naxalites.
The encounter erupted in Guddar forest during a joint Army, J&K Police & CRPF operation after troops spotted suspicious activity and came under fire, the Chinar Corps said Monday.
