Continuing his attack on Nitish Kumar, LJP chief Chirag Paswan said despite having a double engine govt, the Bihar CM couldn't deliver on the promises made to the public.
In interview with ThePrint, HAM’s Jitan Ram Manjhi said that despite problems, CM Nitish Kumar has ensured good governance, while also dismissing the LJP’s prospects in Bihar polls.
The LJP chief said that Nitish Kumar had earlier disregarded Lalu Prasad Yadav but formed the govt with RJD in 2015 and could now join the Mahagathbandan after the Bihar poll.
In interview with ThePrint, JD(U) working president Ashok Choudhary also pooh-poohs Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of 10 lakh jobs, asking how he will get Rs 50,000 crore for it.
LJP chief Chirag Paswan says he is unwavering in his support for the BJP despite leaders of the party referring to him as a ‘vote-cutter’. Excerpts from an interview.
Chirag Pawan has been hitting out at Nitish Kumar on a daily basis, but the Bihar CM has chosen not to react to him and maintained the same approach during his Saturday rally in Alauli.
The Army has plans for a technology thrust in the near term, including the use of AI to support decision-making. While well-intentioned, this may have unintended consequences.
S GUPTA is the reason I read the print or see it’s YouTube channel. Also , there are few good science/bio explanation by a lady . Except these two …. All others have learnt their sociology/political science in college canteen, not in college classrooms. They spite out such a junk and irrelevant opinions !!!!!!
Because u are a leftist Chamcha,and can’t accept reality-Modi’s popularity
This vapid article and the one where Krishna as grossly mistranslated to bolster an untenable argument are good reasons for not supporting today’s journalism.
Win or lose … The exit polls suggest that binary no longer exists. The only question that remains is whether it will be an orderly retreat or a rout. 2. It is not as if the ruling party has held back in the state, conceded anything very much more than the CM’s chair to Shri Nitish Kumar. Sushil Modi has been no. 2 for almost 15 years. Other ministers / statutory posts as well. No one seems to have made a mark. By all accounts, NK is a well mannered, non autocratic / overbearing personality. Difficult to believe the junior coalition partner had no role or space in the state administration, was not allowed to contribute or make suggestions for improvement. 3. A poor showing tomorrow will resonate beyond the state. No winner’s momentum for Bengal next year. If there is any openness to suggestions and advice, there should be reflection on the wisdom of retaining UP’s CM. Personally one has never been impressed by CM Haryana either. Poor reports about Uttarakhand as well. 4. The issues both sides raised in the election and how Biharis vote on them will show if issues related to identity are running out of electoral steam. Of whether high popularity ratings can be sustained amidst so much economic hardship. All politics / electioneering, no governance or development inevitably leads to commerce in legislators being the only way to stay afloat.
If someone would have been in any other profession they have been retired twice but politics is one profession where politician never let it go their sin desire to occupied post for forever. Nitish was 15 long years as a CM before that he was central minister and MP now he is 70 years old why would anyone bother about his career anymore in Bihar. He has done good jobs in Bihar now time has come that he should gracefully retire and do some NGO or charity jobs or at least write some book on good governance and his experience in Indian politics.
