While judge said probe at a 'very crucial stage and custodial interrogation appears necessary', Teltumbde moves court over arrest despite top court order.
Anand Teltumbde has been arrested for his alleged links with the banned CPI-Maoist, a day after a special court in Pune rejected his anticipatory bail application in the case.
The letters allegedly refer to Anand Teltumbde as “Com. Anand” or “Anand T.”, and were recovered in raids at the houses of the other Bhima-Koregaon accused.
SEBI probe concluded that purported loans and fund transfers were paid back in full and did not amount to deceptive market practices or unreported related party transactions.
Many really smart people now share the position that playing cricket with Pakistan is politically, strategically and morally wrong. It is just a poor appreciation of competitive sport.
This Dilip mandal is obsessed with upper castes, I has no problem enjoying the tax paid by upper caste people but the moment he see their name, I spew venom. Dilip mandal is a Lunatic and dalit extremist. People like him are threat to this nation. They are next to ISIS
Observe carefully. You will find many incidences where BJP seems to be anti-OBC. Slowly and silently many things happening behind the screen.Since no suitable candidate from opposition, OBCs will vote for Modi. Many SC ST OBC voting to Modi and not BJP since some of the work of Modi govt like DFC, Expediting defence procurement, strengthening defence, Highway construction, Metro works in major cities, Foreign relations etc are really good. But Modi govt needs to focus no injustice is done with OBCs who voted BJP in 2014 and now too.
This man Udit Raj is a fraud. Congress will be disgraced to have an MP like him. Rohit Vemula happened, he saw nothing wrong with Modi’s BJP ; Guna happened, he saw nothing wrong with Modi’s BJP. Now that they haven’t given him a ticket, he has become the messiah of the Dalits. If congress gives him a ticket, I will hope that he loses his deposit. Leaders like him and Giriraj Singh of the BJP cancers of our society.
The ruling party needs to work harder on its Dalit outreach. The two are not natural partners. There is a lot of history between them. Rohith Vemula’s suicide was a very moving event. Atrocities against Dalits take place all over the country, all the time, some far worse, but for some reason Una caught the nation’s imagination. Token, well publicised visits to Dalit homes, sometimes to have a meal, are not good enough. Dalits and Muslims are each about one sixth of India’s population. Their social and economic uplift are important to India’s future and progress. With a mix of pragmatism and realpolitik, the natural party of governance needs to find ways to take them within its fold.
What does the author mean by “We have very few leaders to represent the voice…”? Who is we? Is he employed under some quota in Print. Earlier too, ignoring fair journalistic traditions he had lied about so-called privileges of brahmins without highlighting the undeniable fact that NR class Hindus have very few career opportunities and are subject to caste-based monetary punishments etc, which is leading to their indebtedness and insolvency.
wow! what venom! and you, mr. upper caste, you are paid by who to write such comments?
I have been following this author’s articles since months. I find a clearcut prejudice here. Probably, THE PRINT is asking him to give his particular point of view. I would like to say author’s who write scientific articles and who can argue both points of view in the same article. A man of science can see both sides of the story. Justice is also supposed to enquire about both sides of the story. Same goes for journalism.
Hi profile says he is a senior journalist and was an editor of INDIA TODAY. For a trained journalist, he is not able to present both sides of a story, thus, showing that he is incapable of presenting a story or argument without his own personal bias butting into every sentence.
I actually admire some of the work Udit Raj does but I believe in a complete meritocracy. But, for a senior journalist, your argument based on incidental findings does not make it scientific. It simply shows that you are selecting reasons to buttress your prejudice rather than the other way round which is the method taught in journalism, law or science. No wonder your generation has made a mess out of every professional stream in India with your nonsensical journalism.
“I believe in a complete meritocracy” this sentence gives you away. when the ground is not level, meritocracy means nothing.
I always go through the news items and articles of this site.. I am not follower of BJP or Mr Narendra Modi but while presenting things , you should be neutral and responsible, there is no point of being based of one particular party.
what is the meaning of neutral? to represent lies and truth equally? the truth is that BJP mistreats its own dalit members, and is now scared that people are beginning to talk about this.
