Always erratic and temperamental, he will now blur all the lines to whitewash / bleach his culpability for failing to control a pandemic that has cost 65,000 American lives, plunged the US into recession. The chances of his securing a second term are receding. It was impolitic for India to have appeared to be taking sides. India has had issues with China since the time he was taken to Central Park in a pram. The diplomatic corps should flag the issues appropriately.
