Colombo, Aug 24 (PTI) Dhruv Jurel underlined his credentials as a specialist Test batter with a gutsy unbeaten 95 as India reached 475 for 8 when umpires took early tea due to heavy downpour on day 2 of the second Test against Sri Lanka here on Monday.

Jurel, who has faced 155 balls so far, has hit nine boundaries and is batting in company of Mohammed Siraj (0 batting).

In the post lunch session, India lost the wickets of Rishabh Pant (63) and Manav Suthar (18). Pant and Jurel had added 112 invaluable runs for the seventh wicket.
