Muzaffarnagar (UP), May 25 (PTI) A 35-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at Rashidgarh village in Shamli district, police said on Monday.
The deceased, Pramila, allegedly killed herself on Sunday after a row with her husband, Monu, they said.
Thanabhavan Police Station SHO Bijendra Singh Rawat told reporters her body was sent for a post-mortem.
According to villagers, Pramila ate poison after a fight stoked by her husband’s suspicion that she was seeing another man.
