Chennai, Jul 27 (PTI) MDMK chief Vaiko on Monday said that a compilation of his speeches in the Pariliament will be released in New Delhi on August 4.

The collection of the speeches that he made in Parliament for over 30 years will be released in four volumes in English by the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi at the Constitution Club in New Delhi on August 4.

The first copy of the book: “Vaiko in Parliament” will be received by the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

Though Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay was invited to the event, due to anticipated large crowds and potential logistical difficulties, he advised Vijay against it, Vaiko told reporters here.

“However, the chief minister will release the Tamil version of the book titled: “Naadalumandrathil Vaiko” at a future event in Chennai,” he said.

Vaiko mentioned that the chief minister has agreed to release the book at an event in Chennai once the translation work, which is expected to be over in a month’s time, is completed. “The specific venue and date for this event will be announced later,” he added. PTI JSP JSP KH
