Etah (UP), Jul 27 (PTI) A youth clung to a moving car for around half a kilometre after the driver tried to speed away in the middle of a collision row on Monday, police said.

The incident took place near Lal Bahadur Shastri College in Jaitra town.

A video of the episode has since gone viral on social media.

According to eyewitnesses, there was a collision between a car and a bicycle rider, and as the driver tried to speed away in middle of a argument, a youth clung to the moving car’s window.

Passers-by and local shopkeepers raised an alarm and tried to stop the vehicle.

The episode was recorded by a bystander who shared on social media.

Circle Officer (Aliganj) Rajesh Singh said the incident occurred at around 2 pm on Monday.

“A youth attempted to stop the driver after seeing the damage caused to the girl’s bicycle. When the driver tried to flee, he held on to the car window and was driven along,” Singh said.

Later, both parties were called to the police station and the matter was settled, with neither side submitting a written complaint, he said. PTI COR KIS VN VN
