Sambhal (UP), Apr 5 (PTI) Two persons have been arrested after a man allegedly ended his life after the duo tried to molest his daughter in the Kunwargarh area, police said on Wednesday.
One Jaipal (45) consumed poison on April 3 after some persons tried to molest his 22-year-old daughter. He was rushed to a hospital, where he died on Tuesday, Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Sirish Chandra said.
Atar Singh and Jagat Pal, who were allegedly involved in the act, have been arrested after the victim’s son registered an FIR in this connection.
