Chatra (Jharkhand), Sep 4 (PTI) Two boys drowned, and one went missing while bathing in the Tadgoo River here on Friday, police said.

The incident occurred in Ghurnadih village around 10 am.

“Two boys drowned, and one went missing while bathing in the river. The bodies of two have been recovered with the help of locals while the search is underway to trace the missing teen,” Sadar Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge Anil Oraon told PTI.

The deceased have been identified as Prince Kumar (16) and Ansh Prakash (11), police said, adding that two bicycles, three pairs of slippers, two bags and other items were recovered from the banks of the river. PTI COR RPS RPS NSD
