Chennai, Sep 4 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Friday greeted the people on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.
Describing Krishna as “a dark-hued one, great in compassion”, the governor said that from the day of his birth until his final day, Krishna remained steadfast in his duty, faced every circumstance and accomplished his tasks with glory.
“This is Krishna’s life and the essence of the Bhagavad Gita that inspires people at all times,” Arlekar said in a post on X, highlighting Krishna’s crucial role in both peace and war.
In a message posted on social media, Vijay extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on the occasion of Krishna Jayanthi, “when all homes and hearts are filled with joy.” “Following the teachings of Sri Krishna—that righteousness will triumph over injustice, that one must unflinchingly perform one’s duty in any circumstance, and that life’s journey must be undertaken with mental fortitude and faith along the path of dharma—we will create a good world where love and virtue flourish alongside noble principles of living,” the CM said.
