Hamirpur (HP), Apr 14 (PTI) Union minister Anurag Thakur alleged on Friday that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, is involved in corruption.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here, Thakur accused the TMC government of corruption in connection with the mid-day meal scheme.

On opposition parties’ efforts to stitch up an alliance in order to defeat the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Union information and broadcasting minister said all parties immersed in corruption are holding each other’s hands, but their corrupt face is visible to the public.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot for the country, which has become the fastest-growing economy in the world. Under such circumstances, the BJP would once again form its government at the Centre with a massive mandate after next year’s Lok Sabha polls, Thakur asserted. PTI COR BPL RC
