New Delhi, Sep 21 (PTI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday met the cast of ‘Hanuman Ansh’ and congratulated them on the success of the film based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, officials said.
The team of the movie, including doctor-filmmaker Vishal Chaturvedi and lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa, met Shah here.
“Today, I met the cast of the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, based on the life of Baba Neem Karoli Ji, in New Delhi,” Shah said on X.
“Heartiest congratulations to the entire team for this commendable effort to bring Baba Neem Karoli Ji’s spiritual journey and his unparalleled devotion to Lord Hanuman to the masses through cinema,” he said.
‘Hanuman Ansh’ was released on August 7 with an opening collection of just Rs 10 lakh at the box office. It has now grossed Rs 347.05 crore worldwide, according to trade tracking website Sacnilk.
