Amaravati, Oct 7 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing India as fortunate to have the “right leader, at the right time, and in the right place”.

His remarks come as PM Modi marked 25 years of uninterrupted public service in executive office, a journey that started on October 7 2001, as the former CM of Gujarat.

In a post on X, Naidu said, “25 years of public service is a remarkable milestone in the journey of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. India is fortunate to have the right leader, at the right time, in the right place.”

Congratulating Modi, Naidu highlighted the country’s confident progress towards “Viksit Bharat@2047” vision (developed India) under his leadership.

In Andhra Pradesh, he noted that the “double-engine bullet train sarkar” (govt) is accelerating development, investment, infrastructure and opportunities for our people.

“I am proud to work with PM Modi in this journey of building a stronger, prosperous and Viksit Bharat, while also advancing our vision of Swarna (golden) Andhra Pradesh,” said the CM.

“My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Shri Narendra Modi Ji on completing 25 years of dedicated public service. May his leadership continue to guide Bharat towards greater heights,” said the TDP supremo.

Reflecting on his 48 years of public life, Naidu said he has seen governments change, economies transform, technologies disrupt the world and leaders rise and fall but “one lesson has only become clearer with time: leadership matters.”

“Despite global challenges like pandemic, geopolitical conflicts, economic uncertainty and rapid technological change, India has remained steady at the wheel. We have expanded infrastructure at an unprecedented pace, strengthened welfare delivery, embraced technology, encouraged enterprise and emerged with greater confidence on the world stage.”

Only a few leaders get the opportunity to shape a generation and the destiny of a nation, the CM added. PTI STH ROH

Nine Years, Made Possible by Readers

In 2017, Shekhar Gupta started ThePrint with a simple belief: Indian readers want journalism that asks why and what next, not just what. And that enough of them would be willing to pay for good journalism.

Nine years on, that belief has held.

And, in these nine years, we’ve stayed true to our mission. We’ve been asking the follow-up questions, going beyond the headlines and explaining what’s actually happening. We’ve travelled across the country to bring you in-depth, visually-compelling stories from the ground.

It’s been nine years of readers choosing to make this possible. If you’d like to be one of them:
