New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das for the A+ rating he received from the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2024, a PIB press release stated. This is the second consecutive time that he has received the highest rating.
PM Modi responded to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by the Reserve Bank of India, and wrote, “Congratulations to RBI Governor @DasShaktikanta for this feat, and that too for the second time. This is a recognition of his leadership at the RBI and his work towards ensuring economic growth and stability.”
He commended Governor Das for his leadership in keeping the focus on growth and stability at all times.
