Chennai, May 18 (PTI) In a major reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government on Monday transferred more than 10 IAS officers.

Gagandeep Singh Bedi has been posted as additional chief secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, an official release said.

P Amudha will take over as secretary, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department.

Satyabrata Sahoo was transferred and posted as secretary in the Water Resources Department.

Shuchonngam Jatak Chiru was appointed as secretary, Public Works Department and Anil Meshram was posted as secretary, Energy Department.

M Vallalar will be Transport Department secretary and K S Palanisamy as Revenue and Disaster Management Department secretary.

Similarly, V Dakshinamoorthy was posted as secretary, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department.

Sajjansingh R Chavan was appointed as Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department secretary and Prashant M Wadnere as Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department secretary.

G K Arun Sundar Thayalan will take over as Inspector General of Registration and G Lakshmipathy as Finance Department joint secretary.

T Anand is placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board for appointment as its managing director, the release said. PTI SNR SNR KH
