Nashik: MCOCA accused commits suicide, case registered against two BJP workers

Nashik (Maha), Dec 28 (PTI) A case of alleged abetment of suicide was registered against two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Nashik district on Wednesday after a man, accused in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), ended his life, police said.

Aniruddha Dhondu Shinde, who was out on bail in a MCOCA case, committed suicide by drinking poison at his home at Bharveer Khurd village around 2 pm on Tuesday, police said.

His suicide note named two BJP office-bearers, accusing them of having implicated him in false cases.

A case of abetment of suicide was registered at Ghoti police station and further probe is on, officials said. PTI COR KRK KRK KRK
