Min temp settles at 8.4 deg C in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 24 (PTI) Delhi’s air quality was recorded in the ‘poor’ category on Thursday as the maximum temperature settled at 27.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, the India Meteorological Department said.  The minimum temperature settled at 8.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average, according to the IMD bulletin.

According to the data by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 213 (poor) on Thursday.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
