Pathanamthitta (Kerala), Aug 13 (PTI) A 45-year-old man died after allegedly being attacked by his relative following a property dispute at Kulathumon here, police said on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Anil, a native of Chengara here.
Police have taken Sudheesh (27), a native of Kulathumon, into custody.
According to police, Sudheesh is the son of Anil’s elder brother.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night when Anil reached Kulathumon, following which a dispute over property broke out between the two, police said.
In a fit of rage, Sudheesh allegedly attacked Anil, causing him to fall to the ground.
He allegedly continued the assault by kicking Anil.
Though Anil was rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said Sudheesh has been taken into custody and his arrest would be recorded soon.
