IREDA celebrates Public Sector Day, honours predecessors and superannuated employees

New Delhi: The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) organised a gathering to celebrate the legacy of its predecessors and retired employees.

The event, titled Public Sector Day, was held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on April 10. The gathering witnessed the participation of most of the superannuated employees of the organisation, a PIB press release stated. CMD Das paid tribute to the contributions of the predecessors and superannuated colleagues. He emphasised the importance of fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration in the workplace.

He highlighted the achievements of IREDA and the growing number of employees in the organisation. Other speakers at the event included the Director (Finance), Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Independent Director, Shri Ram Nishal Nishad, Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Ajay Kumar Sahani, and other senior officials of IREDA. The event was a platform for the veterans to share their experiences and offer inputs for the future trajectory of the company.

The gathering also witnessed the Hasya Kavi Sammelan, which provided attendees with moments of laughter and camaraderie.
