New Delhi: India Wednesday condemned a fake letter that has been doing the rounds in Bangladesh’s local media which shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulating Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi for the latter’s contribution in making India a “Hindu rashtra”.
“We strongly condemn those responsible for deliberately spreading such fake and malicious news, to divide communities, create disharmony and undermine friendship between the people of India and Bangladesh,” said Raveesh Kumar, spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, in a tweet.

Undersigned by PM Modi, the letter also congratulates Justices S.A. Bobde, Ashok Bhushan, D.Y. Chandrachud and S. Abdul Nazeer — all of who were part of the Supreme Court bench that delivered the Ram Jamnabhoomi-Babri Masjid verdict on 9 November.
In the letter, Modi is shown lauding the judges for their efforts in passing the verdict that directed a Ram temple to be built on the land where Babri Masjid once stood.
The word “commendable” is found to have been spelt incorrectly in the letter as “compendable”.
The High Commission of India in Dhaka said the letter is “fake and malicious” and is intended to “mislead” the people of Bangladesh and instigate “social disharmony” between both neighbouring nations. It also said that people with vested interests are doing this to “deliberately” create misunderstanding about India within Bangladesh.

It’s no business of Bangladesh ti comment on the events in their liberator and biggest benefactor India- thankless bigots. The way they have exterminated and persecuted Bangla Hindus is telling and appalling. Shameless Suckers. Please Read Lajja by Taslima Naseeb.
This letter is not fake.
No use denying it after it was leaked.
