Gurugram: Gurugram South and two key posts in Faridabad have new deputy commissioners of police (DCP) after the Haryana government transferred 46 police officers Sunday.
Ayush Yadav, a 2022-batch IPS officer, is the new DCP, South, Gurugram. Prior to this, Yadav was DCP, East, Sonipat, with additional charge as SP, Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau. He replaces Hitesh Yadav, an HPS officer, who moves to Bahadurgarh as DCP against a vacant post.
In Faridabad, Rajesh Mohan (IPS 2021 batch) is now DCP, Central. He was earlier DCP, Crime. Jaibir Singh, an IPS officer promoted from the state police service, moves from DCP, Traffic, to take his place as DCP, Crime. Usha Devi, the outgoing DCP, Central, has been posted as SP, State Crime Branch (SCB), and SP, Social Outreach.
Gurugram is also losing two officers. Rajesh Kumar, a 2014-batch IPS officer, was SP, SCB, with additional charge of SP, Community Policing and Outreach and Security, Gurugram. He is now SP, Law & Order, Panchkula. He will also look after the STF and Social Outreach in Panchkula.
Prateek Gahlot, DCP, Traffic, Gurugram, and in-charge of Mirror Emergency Response Centre (MERC), Gurugram, has been sent to Manesar as DCP. He will also serve as commandant of the 4th India Reserve Battalion (IRB), Manesar. He replaces Parbina P., who has been posted as SP, Government Railway Police (GRP), Ambala Cantt. She takes over from Nitika Gahlaut.
The order also moves Narinder Singh from DCP, Crime, Sonipat, to SP, SCB. Jitender Gehlawat, DCP, Gohana, gets additional charge of DCP, Crime, Sonipat.
A second order transfers 36 HPS officers. In Gurugram, Anil Kumar, DSP, Palwal, has been made ACP, Gurugram. Abhilaksh Joshi, the ACP there, goes to Barara as DSP.
In Faridabad, Priyanshu Dewan, DSP in the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, is the new ACP. Vinod Kumar, the ACP, has been shifted to the same bureau as DSP. Narender Kumar, also ACP, Faridabad, moves to Hansi as DSP.
Ramesh Gulia, DSP, Kaithal, has been posted as ACP, Bahadurgarh. Dinesh Kumar, the outgoing ACP, goes to Hansi as DSP. Gurvinder Singh, Surender Kumar and Malkeet Singh have been posted to CID.
The government has also cancelled three transfers dated 10 July 2026, in so far as they relate to DSPs Kanwaljit Singh, Virender Sharma and Akshay Kumar. The transfer and cancellation orders were issued by Sudhir Rajpal, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, and took effect immediately.
