Gurugram: In a late-night rejig Sunday, the Haryana government transferred 18 Indian Police Service (IPS) and two Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers with immediate effect. The exercise moves the Gurugram Commissioner of Police, four Inspector General-rank postings across ranges, and several Additional Director General of Police (ADGP)-level positions.
The order, issued by the Home Department under Additional Chief Secretary Sudhir Rajpal, moves Vikas Arora, currently Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, as ADGP/Administration, Police Headquarters (PHQ), Panchkula.
His place in Gurugram goes to Sibash Kabiraj, who was serving as Commissioner of Police, Panchkula with the additional charge of ADGP/Cyber and Director, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB).
At the ADGP level, Charu Bali, who held the charge of the Recruit Training Centre (RTC), Bhondsi, Gurugram along with ADGP State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV & ACB), Panchkula, has been posted as ADGP, Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurugram. Dr. Matta Ravi Kiran, ADGP, Karnal Range, takes over as ADGP, SV & ACB, relieving Charu Bali of that charge.
K.K. Rao, currently ADGP, Hisar Range, moves as ADG, RTC, Bhondsi, also relieving Charu Bali.
Among the four Range IGs moved in the order, Rakesh Kumar Arya, IGP, State Crime Branch (SCB), Panchkula, goes as IGP, Crime Branch, relieving Sanjay Kumar. Ashok Kumar, IGP, Crime Investigation Department (CID), Panchkula, takes charge as IGP, Karnal Range, relieving Dr. Matta Ravi Kiran.
Om Parkash, IGP, Haryana Armed Police (HAP), Madhuban, moves as IGP, South Range, Rewari, relieving Naazneen Bhasin. Kuldeep Singh, IGP, Haryana State Enforcement Bureau (HSEnB), Panchkula and IG, Law & Order, takes over as IGP, Hisar Range, Hisar, relieving K.K. Rao.
Naazneen Bhasin, IG, South Range, Rewari, has been given a dual posting—IGP, HAP, Madhuban, Karnal and IGP, RTC, Bhondsi.
At the DIG level, Hamid Akhtar, DIG/SCB, Haryana, Panchkula, moves as DIG, HAP, Madhuban, Surinder Pal Singh, who goes as DIG, CID, vice Ashok Kumar.
Rajender Kumar Meena, Jt. Commissioner of Police, Sonipat, gets the additional charge of DIG, Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) at Sonipat.
Manbir Singh, DIG, PTC, Sunaria, Rohtak, gets the additional charge of DIG, HSNCB at Rohtak.
Sunil Kumar, SP/SCB in the rank of DIG, is posted as DIG/SCBand DIG/HSNCB, Panchkula, vice Hamid Akhtar.
Surinder Singh Bhoria, SP/Law & Order, PHQ(H), Panchkula, gets two charges — SP, State Task Force (STF), Panchkula, and SP/Commando, Newal Karnal, with the latter relieving Narendra Bijarniya.
Aditi Singh, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed SP/SV & ACB(H), GGM, vice Poonam, HPS.
Among the two HPS officers in the list, Siddharth Dhanda, SP/Telecom, Panchkula with additional charge of SP, Emergence Response Support System (ERSS), moves as SP, State Crime Branch.
Poonam, SP, SV & ACB, goes as SP, SCB. Pooja Dabla, SP, SCB, takes over as SP, ERSS, Panchkula, relieving Siddharth Dhanda.
