New Delhi, May 5 (PTI) A fire broke out at a scrap godown in southwest Delhi’s Kapashera on Tuesday, prompting authorities to rush 10 fire tenders, an officer of the Delhi Fire Services said.

No casualties have been reported so far. But due to high-speed winds, the fire spread to the entire godown, and cooling operation was still underway until late evening, according to the officer.

“A call regarding the incident was received at 3.35 pm. We rushed 10 fire tenders to the spot, and firefighting operations are ongoing. We have controlled the fire, but the cooling operation is underway. No one received any injury in the fire incident,” the officer added. PTI SSJ PRK
